Bethesda announces its plans for Xbox One X game updates

Bethesda just detailed its upcoming updates to games on Xbox One for the One X.

Microsoft just launched the Xbox One X today across most regions and Bethesda has posted about what to expect from their games on the world’s most powerful console. They were in the reveal last year at E3 and we now finally see what they have up their sleeves for the One X. The following games will feature updates or already have been updated:

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

Supports 4K Resolution
Enhanced features include:
Dynamic Resolution

Fallout 4

Supports 4K Resolution
Enhanced features include:
Dynamic Resolution
Enhanced draw distance for trees, grass, objects and NPCs
Enhanced God Ray effects

Skyrim Special Edition

Supports 4K Resolution
Enhanced features include:
Dynamic Resolution

Dishonored 2 & Dishonored: Death of the Outsider

Supports 4K Resolution
Enhanced features include:
Dynamic Resolution
Improved framerate stability
4K textures
Improved geometry/draw distances
Improved anti-aliasing
Improved shadows quality

The Evil Within 2

Enhanced Features include:
Upgraded resolution
Higher framerate
30 fps lock removal

The Elder Scrolls Online

Supports Native 4K Resolution and HDR
Enhanced features include:
Increased view distance
Upgraded shadows with Screen Space Ambient Occlusion
Upgraded water reflections

Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be getting updates as part of Xbox 360 BC on Xbox One X for better performance and more. Details will be available soon.
