New Blair Witch Insanity trailer revealed
Lionsgate and Bloober Team have today revealed, at Gamescom, a brand-new story trailer dubbed “Insanity” for their upcoming horror title Blair Witch. The trailer gives us a glimpse into protagonist Ellis’ troubled backstory, as well as what he can expect to find in the infamous woods. With his trusty canine sidekick Bullet in tow, he seeks to discover the secrets of Black Hills Forest. But above all, will they survive the nightmare ahead of them?

It’s 1996. A young boy disappears in the Black Hills Forest near Burkittsville, Maryland. As Ellis, a former police officer with a troubled past, you join the search – with your trusted canine companion, Bullet, at your side. What starts as an ordinary investigation soon turns into an endless nightmare as you confront your fears and the Blair Witch, a mysterious force that haunts the woods.
Bloober Team, those responsible for the Layers of Fear series, are aiming to understand how you deal with fear in the game. This will then play out in various ways as you progress.
Blair Witch launches on PC and Xbox One on Agust 30, 2019.
