Are you interested in learning how to code? If you are you might want to check out Rabbids Coding, a game designed to introduce the basics.

Ubisoft has today announced that Rabbids Coding is now available for free on Uplay for Windows PC.

In Rabbids Coding Rabbids have invaded a spaceship and made a mess. Players have to clean it up by entering programming commands into the spaceship’s operating system. The game is designed so that players of all ages can learn the basics of programming and algorithmic logic.

Rabbids Coding has been designed to make programming fun and accessible so that coding training is available to everyone. It is easy to use for first-time coders and is suitable for players aged seven and up. It features 32 levels, and throughout players will learn how to use sequential programming, loops and conditions.

Speaking on the announcement, Oliver Palmieri, Game Director had this to say:

“Ubisoft is committed to preparing the next generation of video game developers, and what better way to start teaching them the basics of coding than with a fun and interactive learning experience. We strongly believe that video games can play an important role in learning new technical skills, and we’re looking forward to sharing Rabbids Coding as a teaching tool for all ages.”

Rabbids Coding is available for download via your Uplay account.
