Nintendo finally revealed the Nintendo NX as Nintendo Switch.

The official website can be viewed here. As shown in the video below, the Switch will enable players to play the same titles at home and outside as the power of portability of a handheld gets added to the home console. There’s a dock that connects the console to the TV and lets you play multiplayer in the living room. Once you lift it up, it transitions into handheld mode. The detachable controllers are called Joy-Con controllers. Satoru Shibata, the President of Nintendo of Europe had the following to say:

“With this first look at Nintendo Switch, I hope fans are already imagining the possibilities of having the freedom to play when, where, and how they want to. Our teams at Nintendo, and many other developers, are all working hard to create new and unique experiences, and we look forward to showing you more.”

Developers can design their games for Switch with multiple play style options and Nintendo announced partners that will support the Nintendo Switch. Some of them are EA, Activision, Atlus, SEGA, Square Enix, Unity, and Take Two interactive. Watch the video below that shows a number of games including a new Mario title already running on Switch:

The full list of launch titles and release date for Nintendo Switch will be revealed before the March 2017 launch month.
