Midway Classics Return to Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3
We have had ample opportunity over the years to play emulated versions of Midway’s classic arcade catalogue on various devices. There were two volumes of Midway Arcade Classics released for the last generation of machines, and several standalone games like Joust have been available on XBLA for aeons.
But now Warner Bros have announced a forthcoming backbone Entertainment-engineered package which gathers up more than 30 classics on one disc, with support for Achievements and Trophies, online leaderboards and local multiplayer, and all for a budget price.
Out this Christmas, the disc will include the likes of Spy Hunter, Gauntlet, Marble Madness, Rampage and Defender., and is set to be priced very keenly at £19.99. Bargain.
