Jon St. John Really Wants to Play the Joker, Hear His Demo Reel Exclusively on GodisaGeek

The list of voice actors playing the Joker is about as long and varied as it can get. From the cackling psychopath that Hamill portrays to the the slightly bored, but ultimately terrifying sound of DiMaggio’s take on the clown, we’ve all found our favorites that we cling to.

Last year, Hamill retired his Joker, stating that it simply wasn’t healthy for his voice anymore. He said in a tweet, “Hello/Goodbye Joker! I’ve enjoyed every minute behind the wheel of the Crown Prince’s crazy car- I’m going to miss him more than I can say!!”

And he will be missed, but perhaps we should start searching for other Jokers out there? Who knows what we may find. We discovered in our interview with him last year that Jon St. John of Duke Nukem fame has a Joker of his own that he is super eager to break out.

In reference to WB Games’ upcoming MOBA, Infinite Crisis, Jon told us, “I would be thrilled if they were to contact me about the part of the Joker…kind of a dream of mine to be a part of that franchise.”

Then came a demo reel of his take on the infamous villain, which he says he is perfectly able to “tweak.”

Check out the reel yourself that he recorded for GodisaGeek, and let us know what you think!

It needs to be abit higher, and the end of his sentences sometimes drops out of doing the voice-if he fixed that it’d be great; no mark hamil but… ofcourse the issue is if troy baker does it better-then he’ll just move from Arkham Origins onto whatever project Rocksteady is working on (clearly 3rd part to the batman trillogy of games they’ve already made 2 of…)
