The UK’s Biggest eSports Event Takes Place This Weekend

by on July 30, 2014

The world of eSports is slowly starting to recover after The International 4. Since the conclusion of the event very few competitions have taken place, but Gfinity aims to change that with their G3 event this weekend.

G3 takes place at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and will see over 2,000 people gather to support some of the best players and teams in the world.

The event will involve Call of Duty: Ghosts ($55,000), Counterstrike: GO ($45,000), Starcraft II ($30,000) and FIFA 14 ($15,000) tournaments with a combined prize-pool of over $140,000. But that’s not all, the event will also feature merchandise stalls, opportunities to meet pro players and YouTubers and a chance to try out your casting skills.

If you want to attend the event you can pick up tickets for £22 per day right here.
