Monster Hunter: World gets a Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition collaboration

by on January 28, 2018

After the Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration for PS4, Capcom is bringing Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition to Monster Hunter: World.

The full armor sets will even feature the voices of Ryu and Sakura. PS4 owners with SFV save date get access to the special quests early. All PS4 and Xbox One owners get access to the “Down the Dark, Muddy Path” and Sakura quest soon after. SFV Tickets are the reward items and they are used along with other materials at the smithy. There are also gestures for this collaboration but those are premium gestures and they can be bought with real money. Here’s the full collaboration detailed and pricing:

Guild Card: Bonus Stage – FREE
Achievements: Rival, Destined, Living Legend and Bandana Girl – FREE
Pose: Shoryuken & Hadoken – FREE

Gesture: Street Fighter V Hadoken – $3.99
Gesture: Street Fighter V Shoryuken – $3.99
Stamp Set: Street Fighter V Set – $1.99

It is interesthing that while Street Fighter V is not available on Xbox One, the collaboration items are. I will be bothering with the quests when they add Chun Li.

Monster Hunter: World is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is available on PlayStation 4 and PC. Read our Monster Hunter: World review here.
