In the latest Beta build (12604) the underwater mount found in Vashj’ir got a new model. The 280% speed mount which used to look like a Nether Ray was always a place-holder and has now been changed to resemble a Seahorse. The mount is obtained from the starting area of Vashj’ir known as the “Kelp Forest”, the Abyssal Seahorse mount can only be used underwater.

For a long time High Moon Studios promised us that the latest foray into the Transformers franchise would yield good results with developer diaries and such but does it have the touch or is it heading for the scrap pile?

The console version of Super Street Fighter IV has been banging around for a while now and because of that all eyes are firmly placed on the upcoming arcade release of the title. While it is still unconfirmed whether the tweeks that are being made to the arcade version will be transferred back to consoles, arcade purists are still very excited. It will come as a great surprise then, that there is a possibility of new characters being implemented in the arcade release. If the recent screenshot is to be believed there will be two new characters added to the roster.

To go alongside the announcement of the Halo: Reach bundle, Bungie have released a rather nice video showing off all editions of Halo: Reach. In the video a team of Bungie employees unbox the limited and legendary edition of the game as well as the limited edtion Xbox 360 bundle. It’s really nice to see all the contents handled by the Bungie team, a better sense of scale is given to all the juicy extras found inside the various editions of the game.

Yesterday at Comic-Con Microsoft announced a very nice looking limited edition Halo: Reach bundle which includes an Xbox 360 “slim” plus two controllers, all with exclusive Halo: Reach silver casings. The bundle also comes with a copy of Bungie’s upcoming FPS. The console bundle will cost you £250 in the UK and around $399 in the US.

2K Czech studios, who are producing the sequel to the 2002 hit game, will be delivering a Mafia II demo on August 10th. UK trade magazine MCV has featured an advert which nails down the date. The demo will be available across all platforms that the game is being developed for. There have however, been no details on what the content of the demo will be as of yet.

Capcom have announced that Dead Rising: Case Zero, will be released exclusively on Xbox Live on August 31st. Costing 400 Microsoft Points (approximately £3.40), the tale is a prequel / tutorial to Dead Rising 2, set three years before the action in the sequel, and two years following the fallout from the first game and the case at the Williamette Parkview Mall.
