E3-to-Stay-in-LA-for-at-Least-Three-More-YearsGaming’s show piece event is set to stay in its long established home, the city of angels, Los Angeles.

Before today’s announcement speculation was swirling around rumours the expo would be moving, with New York, Chicago, and Las Vegas all being touted as possible locations.

Although the LA Convention Center will continue to be the main location for E3, other venues will be also be used such as LA Live.

ESA CEO, Michael Gallagher said:

We are proud to partner with Los Angeles for another three years. The City serves as a strong backdrop for the video game industry’s biggest announcements. Video games are a dominant force in the global entertainment marketplace and there is no better place to display that than Los Angeles.

Do you plan on attending E3 2013? Would you have liked to see the expo move away from LA or are you happy it’s staying put?

E3 2013 will take place June 11th – 13th .
