New Halo 4 ‘Making Of’ Video Released – Contains Pretty Music

Halo 4 Multiplayer Video Made Available on Halo WaypointYes that’s right my friends, 343 and Microsoft have just pinged us a new making of video for upcoming sure-to-be-a-smash-hit shooter Halo 4, its titled ‘Prelude’ and you can watch it right here, right now.

It was the promise of pretty music that got you in here, wasn’t it? Well, the video certainly has a backing track worthy of an epic Halo style score, and it also shows in its own way the monumental effort that goes into creating a triple-A title.

The video shows the same technique that LA Noire used to render facial animations, so expect to see some pretty facial animations when the game launches. Also, we see how some of the sound effects are recorded, with the use of REAL guns. Imagine getting to do that job, making games one day, firing guns into the desert the next. Some people have it all , don’t they? Sigh…

Halo 4 will launch in two flavours this November, the standard edition and the slightly pricier Limited Collector’s Edition, which will land you access to 3 map packs, a feature length animated movie, early access to multiplayer specialisations and a swanky steel book case.

Check out the video below, and be sure to stay tuned to GodisaGeek as we build up to the release of Halo 4.
