Hideo Kojima To Host Developer Session At EurogamerThe man behind Metal Gear, Snatcher and Zone of the Enders will be present at this year’s Eurogamer Expo for a special Developer Session.

It’s a great time to be a fan of the Metal Gear series, especially as this year is the saga’s 25th anniversary. We’ve already seen the release of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 & PlayStation Vita, a port of Snake Eater on the Nintendo 3DS, a Trophy update for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, but we also have Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance set for release early next year.

Thanks to the folks behind the Eurogamer Expo, fans have even more to be pleased about as series creator, Hideo Kojima will be giving a Keynote Speech at a very special edition of it’s annual Developer Sessions on Thursday September 27th.

Both Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and the upcoming Zone of the Enders HD Collection will be playable, plus there will be a special retro-themed area of the show containing every Metal Gear title.

The Eurogamer Expo will be at Earls Court, London from Thursday, September 27th to Sunday, September 30th. Not only will most of GIAG’s staff will be attending, but we are also an Official Affiliate of the event.

Should be a good laugh, if nothing else.

Yup, and a whole area dedicated to retro Metal Gear is a damn good thing. Can’t get enough of this series, and would love to meet the man in person.

Accouncements like these make me glad that I bought a 4-day pass. Last year I was only there for 3 days, but still found myself spending most of my time either watching dev sessions or queueing for dev sessions. đŸ˜‰
