Namco Bandai to Distribute Codemasters Titles in Europe

Namco Bandai have just announced that they will distribute major forthcoming Codemasters titles (including Grid 2) throughout Europe, including the UK and Ireland.

This is an expansion of the partnership formed in 2010 and means that in addition to distributing Grid 2 when it hits in 2013, Namco Bandai will also be involved in major unannounced titles on Codemasters Racing.

Alberto González Lorca, VP Third Parties, NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe, said:

Our partnership with Codemasters started a few years ago with a few number of territories. Throughout the years, we have built a trustworthy relationship leading us to add key countries every year in our partnership. Today we are taking a new step by adding the United Kingdom and Ireland to our distribution agreement offering Codemasters the full potential of our network but also support in marketing and communication.

Rod Cousens, CEO, Codemasters, is equally happy with the agreement:

Grid 2 is set to release in 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
