People sometimes call the average dog the man’s best friend. However, when that dog is LQ-84i, that man had better be a lot more careful as this dog has a massive chainsaw on his back and many other deadly weapons at its disposal.
And so it is this week that Konami have released the Blade Wolf DLC for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. We recently brought you a review of the last chunk of MGR:R DLC – the Jetstream Sam pack – and now Kojima Productions are once again letting players take control of a different character other than the protagonist of the main game, Raiden.
This new add-on seems to keep up the same level of ultra-violence and insanity that the rest of the game provided, and the launch trailer for the game shows fans a small selection of the unique attacks that they will be able to perform as LQ-84i.

The Blade Wolf DLC is out now for Xbox 360, and May 15th for PlayStation 3.
If I'm not playing on a good Adventure Game - still longing for the long-past Golden Age of the genre, when Lucasarts and Sierra ruled supreme - you might find me searching for a local arcade, in the hopes that it still houses titles such as Sunset Riders or WindJammers.
