More details to Mojang’s follow-up to the uber-successful Minecraft have been revealed. Scrolls will be released into open beta on June 3. The price will be £13/€15/$20. The open beta release method is very similar to the one used for Minecraft. You pay the price listed for an uncompleted game, but get access to all the updates and avoid paying a higher price for the full version.
Scrolls is a card-based, turn-based online strategy game focusing on multiplayer battles. Instead of cards, you collect scrolls to be used in battle and the scrolls can be traded. There is a variety of challenges and other content. If you want in, you can purchase starting June 3 here.
Scrolls will release into open beta for Windows PC and Mac on June 3.
