iOS Devices Enter The Cave
Remember Double Fine’s The Cave? Released back in January, this collaboration with Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert, was a modern take on the classic Point and Click adventure game. It was also pretty damn good, as Robin’s 9/10 review would indicate.
Well, after finding it’s way onto PCs, Macs, Xbox 360s, PlayStation 3s and Wii Us; The Cave will also be making it’s way to iOS devices, as a preview by Touch Gen mentions that the port was available to play at E3.
This version retains the multiple characters, surreal humour and mind-bending puzzles of the original; only this time, you’ll be able to use your digits to control our chosen heroes. As opposed to the virtual controls as seen on many mobile games, you’ll be able to simply tap or drag where you want your character to go – Which sounds great for a game of this type.
The Cave will be available on iOS in late Summer.
