Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus Announced, Release This Year

by on July 11, 2013

Insomniac have announced Ratchet and clank: Into the Nexus, a single player Epilogue to the ‘Future’ saga (Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty and A Crack in Time).

The game is a return to single player Ratchet, welcome words after Q-Force and All 4 One were, well, not as good as traditional Ratchet and Clank. Let’s just say that.

As reported on PSBlog the game sees the return of series creative director Brian Allgeier (Tools of Destruction, A Crack in Time), and has a big emphasis on Zero Gravity (as can be seen in the trailer below).

The game only has a mysterious ‘holiday’ date attached to it, but it features an Alligator that looks like Al Negator from Bucky o’Hare, so that’s me sold.

After a few years looking somewhat shaky Insomniac’s Lombax is certainly on the rise, what with this game and a movie in the works. The only thing I’m left wondering is why this is on PS3 and not PS4, because I’m not going to have any money for a PS4 at this rate…
