WWE 2K14 Targets Longtime Fans with 30 Years of Wrestlemania Mode
April 6, 2014, is going to be a very special date in the hearts of professional wrestling fans as Wrestlemania turns 30. 2K Sports has today announced that they are celebrating this very fact with the 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode in their inaugural WWE title; WWE 2K14.
Players will grapple with opponents over the course of thirty years and in 45 different matches including Hogan & Andre’s famous Wrestlemania III bout and Rock & Hogan’s match in Toronto’s Skydome at Wrestlemania X8.
Similar to WWE 13’s Attitude Era mode, 30 Years of Wrestlemania will be split up into five different eras and 2K Sports has said that there will be presentation changes and screen filters to reflect the passage of time. Matches will have optional, historical objectives where the player must recreate key moments in order to unlock characters, arenas and more.
Coming to North America on October 29 and Europe on November 1, this multi platform effort from 2K Sports will already be atop of many WWE fans’ most anticipated list for this very mode.
