Grand Theft Auto Online Updated, Running Better

by on October 4, 2013

After the slightly wonky launch on Tuesday, with the majority of PS3 users locked out entirely, Rockstar have released a couple of fixes for GTA Online today on both Xbox 360 and PS3.

Across both platforms, there were issues not only with getting online initially, but also with getting through the opening tutorial sequence. Even for those who made it over these first hurdles, the stability of the game was not as it should have been. This update should improve things, but perhaps not entirely. Rockstar have disabled players from purchasing GTA$ cash packs until everything is ironed out, so at least the technical issues won’t cost you any money.

If you’re still struggling and after extra support, some common issues are addressed here. You can also tweet @RockstarSupport¬†with your queries.

Have these updates improved your experience, and were you inconvenienced by the launch troubles? Let us know!
