PETER SERAFINOWICZ Lending His Voice to Dark Souls II

by on January 31, 2014

The voice of Darth Maul, LEGO City’s Forrest Blackwell, and dimwitted businessman Brian Butterfield, Peter Serafinowicz will voice a new character called Mild-mannered Pate in Dark Souls II.

Talking about his involvement in Dark Souls II Peter gave the original title the highest praise, “Dark Souls is the most engrossing game I’ve ever played. For me, it’s the best game of all time.” Anyone that follows the man on Twitter will remember his enthusiastic tweets about the first game.

In relation to his character, Mild-mannered Pate, the press release tells us that ‘players will encounter this mysterious man during his journey in search of treasure. He may teach players a few tricks of his own in order to survive during their quest. Will they dare to trust this enigmatic character?’

I can imagine Serafinowicz voicing one of those characters. One of the ones that tricks you at the last minute, or beguiles with secrets and hints.

Either way it’s great to hear about Peter’s involvement. Between this and the fan-made shields, FROM appear to be doing a great job of working with the fans to create a great Dark Souls game. roll on March.
