NBA Live 14 to Address “Plastic Appearance”
EA Sports have announced an update for NBA Live 14 that will address the plastic look of some players.
EA themselves acknowledge: “That the lighting technique we used caused some players to look smooth, clay-like or even ‘plastic.'” To solve this they’re going to change some textures and the lighting technique.
Also being added is shootaround mode. It serves as a tutorial to teach the intricacies of the game without the pressure of defenders.
Changes to ball physics, passing and dribbling are also coming.
The patch is expected sometime this week.
