Mirror’s Edge 2 Trailer shows Advanced Parkour and Gun-less Combat

EA continued their trend of developer heavy trailers by showing early footage of Mirror’s Edge 2 set to developers chatting about Faith.

The trailer doesn’t show a lot of new elements; much of it chimes with what we know about Mirror’s Edge from the first game, but its glimpse of combat is interesting.

Mirror’s Edge 2’s combat seems to focus on routes and quick takedowns, without any hint that Faith will want to use a gun. Which is good, gun combat is Mirror’s Edge was notoriously weak, so to avoid it entirely would be a sensible choice.
