Minecraft Marketplace set to release in Spring

Microsoft just announced The Minecraft Marketplace.

It will be arriving with the 1.1 Discovery Update in Spring. Mobile and Windows 10 (PC) versions of Minecraft will be able to browse, download, and play creations from within the game from the community. This will be curated by the Minecraft team and will allow creators to make a living from within Minecraft. At launch, it will be just partners but they will be opening up submissions to anyone with a registered business down the line.

Minecraft Coins is a virtual currency that can be bought using in app purchases on a smart device. An Xbox Live account is required. This update will release with the 1.1 Discovery Update in Spring.

Minecraft Marketplace will be on Bedrock Engine platforms which are mobile and Windows 10 (PC).
