Super Mario Run gets new Friendly Run mode

In a notification inside the game, Super Mario Run Friendly Run mode has been revealed.

After saying there will be no new content, Nintendo added a new mode to Super Mario Run in the form of Friendly Run.

If you haven’t added a friend to Super Mario Run, go ahead and do that now. If you have, you can now challenge them to a Friendly Run. Rally tickets will not be needed for Friendly run but there’s a limit to how many times you can play it per day. If you haven’t finished world 1, you can play Friendly Run once a day. If you’ve cleared world 1, you get three Friendly Runs per day. If you have cleared world 2, you can play Friendly Run up to 5 times a day.

Friendly Run will not increase your enemies defeated count or coins or even toads. It also requires you to have completed the Kingdom Builder tutorial.

Super Mario Run is available on iOS devices. Read our review here. For more details on Friendly Run, check the in app notifcation.
