Mass Effect 3 as Early as 2011?

by on February 9, 2010

Electronic Arts are pulling no punches with their franchises as Mass Effect 2 is recieving more free DLC today in the form of new assault armour (Cerberus Assault Armour) complete with the intergalactic treaty breaking M22a Eviscerator Shotgun equipped with longer range and stronger shield/armour penetration (you got to love how everything in Mass Effect has its place) that will both be free for registered Cerberus Network members.

More importantly though is the fact that EA higher ups have told thier financial investors to anticipate “something far-reaching” from the Mass Effect franchise in 2011. Meaning whatever Bioware have up thier sleeves we should be expect something Mass Effect related in early 2011 (yes please!). Having recently stated that they “definitely want to make ‘Mass Effect 3’ a fairly short turnaround” it’s not entirely impossible that this could also be a scheduled time frame for Mass Effect 3’s release (we can hope). Whatever it is we at GodisaGeek are possitive Bioware/EA will not disappoint.
