Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 – Shadow Mode DLC Announced

Excited about squaring off against your favourite Marvel/Capcom characters in the upcoming Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds? Well so are we.

The game hasn’t even come out yet but already we’re getting teased with Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds DLC. The recently announced ‘Shadow Mode’ DLC will allow players to play against custom computer made versions of famous players, allowing them to practice their fighting technique against well known teams of developers and, potentially, other famous faces in the future.

Ever dream of squaring off with Marvel vs Capcom 3 fighting game legends, but never have the chance? Beginning in March, players will be able to face off against custom-built computer opponents, modeled after famous players and specific themed teams via Marvel vs. Capcom 3’s innovative “Shadow Mode”. A series of downloadable packs, each will contain three unique teams to battle against, with their own programmed special techniques and preferences.  The first pack will include the team and AI Personality of the game’s producer, Ryota Niitsuma, in addition to the Shadow Mode teams for Assistant Producer Akihito Kadowaki and a QA team leader.  More packs will be coming soon, and may feature some personalities you already know.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is due to be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 18th February 2011 in Europe, 15th February in North America and 17th February in Japan.
