Red Hot Chili Peppers Rock out new 8-track pack for Rock Band 3

To coincide with the release of their latest studio album, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming back to the Rockband Music Store, with a mammoth eight-song track pack for your consideration. The new album, entitled “I’m With You” will release to stores on August 30th, and the new track pack for Rock Band will be released the very same day – so you can go Chili Peppers crazy. The pack will feature three songs from the new album, including their current single “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie”.

The full line-up for the track pack will be:

Red Hot Chili Peppers – “Look Around”
Red Hot Chili Peppers – “Monarchy of Roses”
Red Hot Chili Peppers – “Otherside”

Harmonix are running a series of giveaways to tie-in with the release; To celebrate the release of the new album and Rock Band download pack, Harmonix and the Chili Peppers will be giving away codes for the Rock Band pack and more! Fans should check out Facebook.com/ChiliPeppers, Facebook.com/RockBand along with @ChiliPeppers and @RockBand on Twitter for giveaways on 8/23 and 8/30 featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers I’m With You CDs, T-Shirts, Posters, Rock Band 3, and, of course, Xbox 360 codes for the “I’m With the Chili Peppers Pack”.

These tracks will be available for Xbox 360, Wii and on PlayStation 3 on August 30th 2011. They will cost £0.99 (160 Microsoft Points / 200 Wii Points) per song. These songs will also be available as part of the “I’m With the Chili Peppers Pack”, which will cost £6.69 UK (1080 Microsoft Points / 1350 Wii Points). The Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades for “Californication” and “Otherside” will cost an additional £0.59 (80 Microsoft Points/100 Wii Points). All tracks are original artist recordings.
