Good news if you’re a fan of Formula One racing and hand held gaming, as Codemasters award winning franchise has now raced onto Nintendo 3DS at break neck speed with the release of F1 2011! Gamers will now be able to enjoy the high octane motorsport for the first time in full stunning 3D. Developed by Sumo Digital under Codemasters’ exclusive worldwide agreement with Formula One World Championship Limited, players will be able to either have quick races or build an entire career from rookie to FIA Formula One World Champion anywhere they please, with Nintendo’s popular hand held device.

Not only can you compete for motorsport’s ultimate prize over a full season or an individual Grand Prix, you can also play on Time Trial mode to practise getting that tenth off a second off your best time, as well as a new Challenge mode to really test your driving prowess. If that wasn’t enough, there is also a range of multiplayer modes where up to four players can race in a Grand Prix or go head-to-head in Time Trials, as well as teaming up with a friend in a co-operative career mode. The racing experience can also be tailored to your liking in solo and multiplayer modes by adjusting the race distance, car tuning, driving aids and selecting tyres, fuel and weather settings.

To show off this latest release, a trailer with real footage of the game (albeit 2D) from the Nintendo 3DS is available for you to watch now if you’re having trouble deciding on whether or not to buy the title, but remember F1 2011 is already out for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC if you want your F1 fix to be on a console (which got a solid 9/10 from our review) and also F1 2011 will be released as a launch title when the PlayStation Vita is on the shelves. But in the meantime, sit back and enjoy the trailer and if you like what you see, go out and buy the title now!
