The Dark Knight Batmobile Coming to Arkham Knight

by on August 19, 2015

The Batmobile ‘Tumbler’ that featured in the 2008 Batman film The Dark Knight is coming to Arkham Knight along with a host of other goodies.

Available right now is the skin for the 1989 Batmobile along with the Michael Keaton Batman suit from the same film. Due to the design of the Batmobile you wont be able to use this to cruise the streets in open play if you haven’t destroyed the Arkham Knight’s tanks. Alongside this, there will be two racetracks inspired by the follow up film ‘Batman Returns’.

Also out today is the Bat-Family skins pack, which will give you alternate looks for Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman.

Both the 1989 and Bat-Family packs are up now and are free to people who purchased the Season Pass, or £1.69 each to those who haven’t.

As well as these, starting from September 1, there’ll be four items of DLC in September. The first of which will be the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #1, which will consist of six AR challenges for Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman.

Later in September you’ll be able to grab the aforementioned 2008 Batmobile Tumbler skin, and the original Bat-suit from Arkham Asylum. Plus, later you’ll get a new piece of story content – GCPD Lockdown.

Lockdown will have you play as Nightwing as you attempt to prevent The Penguin from escaping the GCPD building and will be set after the events of Arkham Knight.

There’s an extended trailer below for the 1989 skins, the Race Tracks and the Bat-Family skin pack below.
