If you happen to be a fan of Devil May Cry and also own a Nintendo Switch, then you’re in luck, this news is just for you! If you hadn’t guessed already by the title of this news post, Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition is coming to Nintendo’s hybrid console (and its newer sibling, the Switch Lite) early next year.

Devil May Cry 3 is a prequel to the original game, telling the origin story of a shirtless Dante and his twin brother Vergil. Perhaps your first foray into the series was the recent Devil May Cry 5 on PS4 or Xbox? Well, you’ll see the first time Dante met Lady, and even see the beginnings of Dante’s shop and the reasoning behind the series’ title!

Portable for the first time, Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition brings the full game, with the inclusion of Vergil as a playable character and all 9,999 floors of the Bloody Palace survival mode.

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition arrives on Nintendo Switch eShop on February 20th 2020, coming in at £15.99.
