Capcom reveal three more characters for Super Street Fighter IV

ssf4Whats that you say? You want more Super Street Fighter news? Well alright, since we at God is a Geek love you, the gaming public we will oblige. As previously mentioned by us here at godisageek.com, Capcom where planning to unveil some more “new challengers” for Super Street Fighter IV and true to form they have done just that. This weeks release of popular Japanese magazine Famitsu gives us a sneak peak at the three latest additions to the cast. Hit the jump to see the scans!

As seen from the magazine scans above the three new characters that have been added to the roster include Adon, Final Fight’s Cody and Guy. The knowledgeable fighting fans amongst you all will know that all three characters were present in the Street Fighter Alpha series. Going by what we have seen so far it seems like Capcom appear to be moving up through the series’ in regards to the character unveilings so it wouldn’t be too much of a presumtion to assume that the next batch of characters might come from the Street Fighter 3 roster (or so we’re hoping anyway).  While the known roster additions will subdue the Street Fighter 2 and Alpha masses there is still a large 3rd Strike community who wouldn’t mind seeing characters such Yun and Makoto make their jump into the 3rd dimension (myself included). That being said the last batch of characters could be completely new fighters entirely. Let us know what you think of the recent additions to the Super Street Fighter IV family and who you would like to see revealed next. Dudley or Ibuki anyone?

Super Street Fighter IV is expected Spring 2010

I live, breathe, eat, sleep and drink GEEK! Been gaming since I was 4 years old and have made it my mission to own every gaming platform since I held my first NES controller. There isn't a genre I don't enjoy, if a game is even remotely good I'll be playing it. In my spare time (when I'm not gaming) I like to feed my anime, Japanese Culture and Gundam model kit addictions.

If we are going to get on there is two things you need to acknowledge - Hideo Kojima is a GOD and Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a master piece!

God truly is a GEEK!
